THE WINTER YOGA RETREAT - 7th-8th DECEMBER 2019
Christmas can be the loveliest time of year, but it is also one of the busiest. We often get lost in the hustle of it all, and before we know it we are rushing, doing, and making our way through the longest of all to-do lists.
What I want this retreat to be is a pause. Because this month, more than any other, you need to cultivate time for yourself.
The Acorn Retreat Centre, is the most tranquil, calm and beautiful space. Trust me when I say it’s like no where you have been before. The whole space is crafted out of wood, it’s warm and cosy, with wood burning fires, blankets rolled up in every corner, and cups of tea on tap.
Over the course of the weekend, together, we will practice three yoga classes, all based on moving better and flowing, with a little play thrown in there too. We will eat together. And enjoy resting together.
What does it include:
3 meals plus snacks (lunch, two-course dinner, and Sunday brunch) - all home cooked, nutritious rich, and plant based
An overnight stay at the Acorn*
Use of steam room, sauna, option to book a massage or other treatment at the Acorn
3 yoga classes
*3 non-stay/ day spots available (at £150 each)
Yoga class 1: 10-11.30am
Treatments/ free time/ walk: 2-5.00pm
Yoga class: 5-6.30pm
Morning meditation and yoga class: 9-10.15am
Hometime to leave: 11.30-12pm
The retreat is for all levels, but some yoga experience is recommended - however if you are interested but are a complete beginner please contact me and we can talk in more depth about this.
Come together or alone - we always have a mix of people coming along.
The rooms are shared. However this has only been a positive thing in the past, so please don't worry if you are coming alone! Plus, we do not spend much time in the rooms; there is plenty of space to find alone time should you wish for it.
